RTI International is one of the world’s leading research institutes, dedicated to improving the human condition by turning knowledge into practice. Its staff of more than 3,700 provides research and technical services to governments and businesses in more than 75 countries in the areas of health and pharmaceuticals, education and training, surveys and statistics, advanced technology, international development, economic and social policy, energy and the environment, and laboratory testing and chemical analysis.
RTI was established in 1958 as the first scientific research organization based in the then newly created Research Triangle Park, the result of public-private collaboration between leaders in business, academia and North Carolina state government.
Our Team
The RTI Team, and institution as a whole, bring varied and complementary expertise to the Consortium to further the aim of interdisciplinary collaboration. RTI has a number of experts in the theory and methods for program and policy evaluation within public health, medical, behavioral health and community settings. RTI has experience with private and governmental contract mechanisms available for funding Implementation Science related work, providing more opportunities for researchers at Consortium institutions. RTI also brings strong experience in media and technical options for dissemination of information through graphics, web and other electronic platforms.
