The Gillings School aims to achieve\u00a0even greater global impact by anticipating\u00a0the future, turning research into real-world solutions, building strategic partnerships and shaping the next generation of global public health leaders.<\/p>\n<p>The UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health was founded as a division within the School of Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1936. In 1939 it became a separate school &#8211; making it the first school of public health to be established within a state university. Today, the Gillings School is not only one of the largest public health schools in the country, it is one of the most consistently recognized for excellence.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-one-half fusion-layout-column fusion-column-last fusion-spacing-yes\" style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:20px;\"><div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper\"><h2>RTI International<\/h2>\n<p>RTI International is one of the world&#8217;s leading research institutes, dedicated to improving the human condition by turning knowledge into practice.
